1. Langkah-langkah transaksi menggunakan credit card :
a. Menghubungkan kejaringan terenkripsi yang aman;
b. Memasukan alamat website untuk membeli dari alamat jendela browser;
c. Memilih barang yang ingin dibeli;
d. Klik tombol yang sesuai untuk membeli item yang telah dipilih;
e. Masukan informasi pengiriman;
f. Masukan informasi penagihan;
g. Masukan informasi kartu kredit seperti nama, nomor kartu kredit, tanggal kadaluarsa kartu, 3 atau 4 digit kode keamanan dibagian belakang kartu kredit;

2. Instansi yang terlibat dalam transaksi elektronik :
a. DepKomInfo (Departemen Komunikasi dan Informasi) layak ditunjuk sebagai instansi pemerintah yang bertugas membuat regulasi tentang pemanfaatan dunia maya khususnya informasi dan transaksi elektronik.
b. Agen Elektronik adalah perangkat dari suatu Sistem Elektronik yang dibuat untuk melakukan suatu tindakan terhadap suatu Informasi Elektronik tertentu secara otomatis yang diselenggarakan oleh Orang.
c. Penyelenggara Sistem Elektronik adalah setiap Orang, penyelenggara negara, Badan Usaha, dan masyarakat yang menyediakan, mengelola, dan/atau mengoperasikan Sistem Elektronik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama-sama kepada Pengguna Sistem Elektronik untuk keperluan dirinya dan/atau keperluan pihak lain.
3. Konsep Utama E-Commerce
1) Konsep Dasar Informasi
Konsep yang berbasis dari teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk perdagangan dalam penggunaan internet.Penggunaan internet ini digunakan sebagai media informasi dalam melakukan transakasi berupa produk dan jasa.
2) Analisis Sistem
sebagai penguraian dari suatu sistem informasi menjadi beberapa bagian kecil yang dimaksudkan untuk mengidentifikasikan kesalahan, kesempatan, hambatan,dan kebutuhan yang diharapkan sehingga dapat diusulkan pengembangan dari sistem informasi tersebut.
3) Perancangan Sistem
Setelah tahap analisis sistem, maka diketahui kelemahan-kelemahan sistem tersebut. Sehingga dalam tahap ini dibuat persiapan dan perancangan rinci terhadap sistem informasi yang akan dibangun.
4) Mekanisme E-Commerce
Pada mekanisme e-commerce ini, dimana pembeli yang hendak memilih belanjaan yang akan dibeli bisa menggunakan "shopping cart" untuk melakukan transaksi terhadap barang-barang yang telah dipilih dan akan dibayar.Shopping cart’ biasanya berupa formulir dalam web, dan dibuat dengan kombinasi CGI, database, dan HTML.Setelah pembeli mengadakan transaksi, retailer akan mengirimkan barang yang dipesan melalui jasa pos langsung ke rumah pembeli. Beberapa cybershop menyediakan fasilitas bagi pembeli untuk mengecek status barang yang telah dikirim melalui internet.
5) Software untuk Pembuatan E-Commerce
Dalam pembuatan toko online/e-commerce membutuhkan software atau aplikasi tertentu untuk mengatur inventarisasi barang dan transaksi penjualan.
6) Alternatif Pembayaran untuk E-commerce
Untuk transaksi pembayaran, e-commerce memeiliki banyak alternatif. Caranya dengan mendaftar sebagai customer pada web tersebut. bagi customer yang memiliki kartu kredit dapat menggunakan kartu tersebut. Atau bisa juga menggunakan paypal, transfer bangking, ataupun cash delivery.
7) Keamanan E-commerce
Dalam prakteknya, berbelanja di web memerlukan koneksi ke internet dan browser yang mendukung transaksi elektronik yang aman, seperti Microsoft Internet Explorer dan Netscape Navigator. Standar enkripsi yang digunakan dalam e-commerce pada saat ini adalah SET (Secure Electronic Transaction). Selain digunakan untuk pembayaran dengan credit card, SET juga digunakan untuk pembayaran dengan smartcard. Dengan menggunakan SET, kerahasiaan informasi customer (berupa nama dan nomor kartunya) bisa dijaga. SET juga bisa menjaga autotentifikasi atau identitas penjual dan customer, sehingga tidak bisa disalahgunakan oleh sembarang orang.

I. Kasus hack pada Tokopedia:
Rabu (31/5/2017). Sejumlah pengguna Tokopedia mengeluhkan ada transaksi tak dikenal di dalam akunnya. Kebanyakan pengguna melaporkan, saldo di akun TokoCash milik mereka digunakan oleh pihak tak bertanggung jawab untuk berbelanja voucher game.
banyak yang mengklaim saldo di akun TokoCash mereka terkuras untuk membeli voucher game Steam Wallet. Banyak pengguna berpendapat, sistem Tokopedia dibobol oleh hacker sehingga menguras saldo mereka untuk membeli voucher game tersebut.
Karena Tokopedia tak punya Customer Service via telepon, sontak pengguna yang kerugian langsung memberedel akun resmi Tokopedia di Twitter, baik itu @tokopedia maupun @tokopediacare.
"@tokopedia hallo..tokocash saya sepertinya dipakai orang lain!! Ada transaksi jam 1 subuh u/ pembelian voucher game!! Mhn bantuannya," tulis pemilik akun @GUR3N di Twiiter.
II. Studi Kasus 4 Kuadran Matriks E-Business
--Studi Kasus : Pizza HUT cabang Dago--
1. Tahap Pertama (The Input Stage)
Tahap ini berfungsi untuk menyimpulkan informasi dasar yang diperlukan untuk merumuskan strategi. Tahap input data dilakukan dengan menggunakan 3 (tiga) matrix yang mempunyai fungsi yang berbeda-beda.
1) Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) Matrix: Matrix IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) digunakan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor internal perusahaan berkaitan dengan kekuatan dan kelemahan yang besar dalam daerah-daerah fungsional perusahaan, dan juga untuk memberikan suatu basis bagi pengidentifikasian dan pengevaluasian hubungan di antara daerah-daerah tersebut. Nilai IFE yang diperoleh adalah 2.7994 berarti posisi internal yang dimiliki oleh restoran Pizza HUT adalah kuat karena nilai yang diperoleh berada di atas 2.5.
2) External Factor Evaluation (EFE) Matrix: Matriks EFE digunakan untuk mengevaluasi faktor-faktor eksternal perusahaan. Data eksternal dikumpulkan untuk menganalisis hal-hal menyangkut persoalan ekonomi, sosial, budaya, demografi, lingkungan, politik, pemerintahan, hukum, teknologi, persaingan di pasar industri di mana perusahaan berada, serta data eksternal relevan lainnya. Skor yang diperoleh oleh restoran Pizza HUT adalah 1.51 berarti restoran Pizza HUT tidak memanfaatkan peluang-peluang yang ada atau tidak menghindari ancaman-ancaman eksternal.
3) Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM): Competitive profile Matrix mengidentifikasikan para pesaing utama perusahaan termasuk kekuatan dan kelemahan utama mereka dalam hubungannya dengan posisi strategis perusahaan.
2. Tahap Kedua (The Matching Stage)
Tahap ini dilakukan dengan berfokus pada pembangkitan strategistrategi alternatif yang dapat dilaksanakan melalui penggabungan faktor eksternal dan internal yang utama. Pada tahap ini, metode yang dipilih adalah metode SPACE (Strategic Position and Action Evaluation) Matrix karena metode ini mengembangkan semua strategi yang mungkin untuk dikembangkan dengan memetakan kondisi perusahaan dengan menggunakan model yang direpresentasikan dalam diagram Cartesius yang
terdiri atas 4 (empat) kuadran dengan skala ukuran yang sama. SPACE Matrix dapat digambarkan sebagai berikut :
Dapat dilihat bahwa strategi yang digunakan adalah strategi agresif dimana perusahaan dapat menggunakan kekuatan internalnya untuk mengambil keuntungan dari peluang eksternal, mengatasi kelemahan internal dan menghindari dari ancaman eksternal.
3. Tahap Ketiga (The Decision Stage)
Pada tahap ini dilakukan evaluasi secara objektif strategi-strategi alternatif dari hasil tahap kedua yaitu tahap matching stage dengan menggunakan input dari tahap pertama yaitu, input stage sehingga
memberikan suatu basis objektif bagi pemilihan stratgei-strategi yang paling spesifik. Pada tahap ini dilakukan teknik QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) untuk menunjukkan strategi alternatif mana yang paling baik untuk dipilih. Melalui teknik ini, peneliti strategi mengevaluasi pilihan strategi alternatif secara objektif berdasarkan faktor-faktor sukses utama internal-eksternal yang telah diidentifikasi sebelumnya untuk memformulasikan strategi. Dari nilai TAS, diperoleh alternatif strategi yang menjadi pilihan utama adalah strategi pertumbuhan intensif karena memiliki nilai TAS terbesar.
4. Peta Persaingan Restoran Siap Saji
Untuk faktor sukses Market Share, Pizza HUT unggul dibandingkan dengan McDonalds dan KFC. Dalam arti Pizza HUT telah merebut pangsa pasar yang semestinya. Untuk faktor Price Competitiveness, Pizza HUT kalah bersaing dengan KFC dan McDonalds. Untuk faktor Financial Position, Pizza HUT juga mengalami kekalahan persaingan dibandingkan kedua pesaing utamanya. Untuk kualitas produk, Pizza HUT memiliki keunggulan yang sama dengan McDonalds akan tetapi masih kalah bersaing dengan KFC. Untuk kesetiaan konsumen pada produk yang ditawarkan, Pizza HUT menempati posisi yang sama akan tetapi kalah bersaing dengan McDonalds yang memiliki kesetiaan konsumen yang paling tinggi.
Usulan Strategi
Melalui strategi generik pertumbuhan intensif yang dipilih, maka strategi utama yang dapat dilaksankan sesuai posisi Pizza HUT yang berada pada kuadran Aggresive adalah :
a. Strategi Penetrasi Pasar (Market Penetration)
• Melakukan survei atau penelitian untuk mengetahui agar Pizza HUT dapat mengkomunikasikan produknya kepada konsumen sehingga dapat dibuat suatu periklanan yang efektif dan efisien.
• Meningkatkan promosi seperti memberikan diskon makanan pada
acara-acara tertentu.
• Mengambil diferensiasi pelayanan melalui suatu penanggapan keluhan terhadap konsumen yang langsung ditanggapi dalam waktu kurun jam tertentu.
• Memperbaiki kinerja karyawan dengan melakukan training.
b. Strategi Pengembangan Pasar (Market Development)
• Perkenalan produk-produk atau jasa yang ada sekarang ke daerah-daerah yang masih baru.

Manfaat e-commerce bagi konsumen :

• Ada bandwidth telekomunikasi yang tidak mencukupi.
• Alat pengembangan perangkat lunak masih dalam tahap perkembangan dan sedang berubah dengan cepat.
• Sulit menyatukan perangkat lunak Internet dan EC dengan aplikasi dan database yang ada sekarang ini.
• Vendor-vendor kemungkinan perlu server web yang khusus serta infrastruktur lainnya, selain server jaringan.
• Beberapa perangkat lunak EC mungkin tidak akan cocok bagi hardware tertentu, atau tidak bisa dipasang bersama dengan beberapa sistem pengoperasian atau komponen-komponen lain.

Proses Bisnis E-Commerce
Definisi E-commerce
Electronic ecommerce (EC) merupakan konsep baru yang bisa digambarkan sebagai proses jual beli barang atau jasa pada World Wide Web Internet (Shim, Qureshi, Siegel, Siegel, 2000) atau proses jual beli atau pertukaran produk, jasa, dan informasi melalui jaringan informasi termasuk internet (Turban, Lee, King, Chung, 2000).
Definisi dari E-Commerce menurut Kalakota dan Whinston (1997) dapat ditinjau dalam beberapa perspektif:
- 1. Dari perspektif komunikasi, E-Commerce adalah pengiriman barang, layanan, informasi, atau pembayaran melalui jaringan komputer atau melalui peralatan elektronik lainnya.
- 2. Dari perspektif proses bisnis, E-Commerce adalah aplikasi dari teknologi yang menuju otomatisasi dari transaksi bisnis dan aliran kerja.
- 3. Dari perspektif layanan, E-Commerce merupakan suatu alat yang memenuhi keinginan perusahaan, konsumen, dan manajemen untuk memangkas biaya layanan (service cost) ketika meningkatkan kualitas barang dan meningkatkan kecepatan layanan pengiriman.
- 4. Dari perspektif online, E-Commerce menyediakan kemampuan untuk membeli dan menjual barang ataupun informasi melalui internet dan sarana online lainnya. E-commerce dapat dibagi menjadi empat kategori utama yaitu, B2B, B2C, C2B, dan C2C:
- a) B2B (Business-to-Business)
Perusahaan melakukan bisnis dengan satu sama lain seperti produsen menjual kepada distributor dan pedagang besar menjual ke pengecer. Harga didasarkan pada jumlah order dan sering dinegosiasikan.
- b) B2C (Business-to-Consumer)
Ini merupakan transaksi eceran dengan pembeli perorangan.
- c) C2B (Consumer-to-Business)
Termasuk dalam kategori ini adalah perseorangan yang menjual produk atau layanan ke organisasi, dan perseorangan yang mencari penjual, berinteraksi dengan mereka, dan menyepakati suatu transaksi.
- d) C2C (Consumer-to-Consumer)
Dalam kategori ini, seorang konsumen menjual secara langsung ke konsumen lainnya. Ada banyak situs yang menawarkan baris gratis, lelang, dan forum di mana orang dapat membeli dan menjual berkat sistem pembayaran online seperti PayPal di mana orang dapat mengirim dan menerima uang online dengan mudah. Layanan lelang eBay merupakan contoh di mana orang-ke-orang malakukan transaksi sehari-hari yang berlangsung sejak tahun 1995.
Proses Pemasaran Elektronik
Agar sebuah perdagangan antara pembeli dan penjual dapat dilakukan, maka harus ada satu proses tertentu. Proses ini bisa mencakup tahap-tahap sebagai berikut:
1. Pembeli dengan menggunakan komputernya masuk ke pasar.
2. Pembeli mencari produk, masuk ke homepage penjual produk.
3. Pembeli memilih produk lewat katalog.
4. Pembeli memesan produk, mengisi order pembelian, terjadi proses transaksi.
5. Order pembelian dikirim ke penjual, terjadi integrasi hukum.
6. Penjual mengkonfirmasi pesanan.
7. Pembeli membayar, menggunakan beberapa pilihan pembayaran, terjadi transaksi.
8. Informasi pembayaran dikirim ke bank, terjadi integrasi hukum.
9. Kredit dicek pada bank pembeli
10. Kredit disetujui, dibayarkan pada bank, terjadi integrasi hukum.
11. Produk dikirim oleh penjual.
12. Produk diterima oleh pembeli.
Layanan Purna Jual
Setelah transaksi usai dilakukan dan produk telah didistribusikan ke tangan konsumen, barulah proses terakhir yaitu aktivitas purna jual dijalankan. Pada tahapan ini penjual dan pembeli melakukan berbagai aktivitas atau komunikasi seperti:
1. Keluhan terhadap kualitas produk;
2. Pertanyaan atau permintaan informasi mengenai produk-produk lain;
3. Pemberitahuan akan produk-produk baru yang ditawarkan;
4. Diskusi mengenai cara menggunakan produk dengan baik.
Target dari interaksi ini adalah agar di kemudian hari terjadi kembali transaksi bisnis antara kedua pihak yang didasari pada kepuasan pelanggan.
Ketiga proses utama di dalam value chain sistem E-Commerce ini dapat dilakukan selama 24 jam sehari dan 7 hari seminggu. Berdasarkan kenyataan, website dan email merupakan dua sarana yang kerap dipergunakan dalam melakukan transaksi perdagangan. Yang perlu diperhatikan adalah bahwa pihak penjual harus memiliki pusat basis data (corporate database) yang berisi informasi mengenai produk dan jasa perusahaan beserta semua rekaman interaksi antara penjual dan pemberi (formal maupun informal) yang terjadi. Sistem basis data ini akan menjadi sebuah pusat pengetahuan korporat (corporate knowledge) yang di dalamnya terdapat data mentah maupun informasi mengenai perilaku konsumen dan pasar.
Protokol yang Dipakai pada E-commerce
- 1) Secure Electronic Transaction Protocol (SET). SET merupakan standar protokol dari MasterCard dan Visa untuk melindungi pembayaran online kartu kredit via internet. Protokol ini memiliki tiga jalur transaksi yang melibatkan user, pedagang dan bank yang memakai SET protocol. Data kartu kredit dan sertifikat digital akan tersimpan di dalam plug-in yang ada di web browser user. SET mengaktifkan (secure shopping cart) enkripsi server informasi pembayaran dari pedagang ke bank. Persetujuan akan dikirim secara elektronik ke pedagang.
- 2) Sistem Electronik Market atau EMs. Sistem ini adalah sebuah aplikasi yang memanfaatkan teknologi dari informasi dan komunikasi untuk melakukan kegiatan penawaran dalam pasar tertentu sehingga pembeli dapat dengan mudah membandingkan dengan beberapa jenis harga. Yang artinya adalah Electrinik Market ini adalah sebuah system yang memberikan informasi dari kelompok tertentu yang memberikan fasilitas bagi penjual dan pembeli untuk melakukan pertukaran informasi mengenai harga produk tertentu. Keuntungan yang didapatkan oleh pembeli adalah lebih terasa nyata dan lebih efesien dalam penggunaan waktu. Sedangkan bagi penjual adalah dapat memberikan informasi produk yang dijual dengan lebih mudah, cepat dan dapat menarik banyak pelanggan
- 3) Sistem Electronik Data Interchange atau EDI. Sistem ini adalah sarana untuk membuat lebih efesien dalam hal melakukan perturan data yang dilakukan dengan cara transaksi yang berulang dalam ukuran yang besar antara kelompok komesial. Secara sederhana, EDI adalah system yang melakukan transfer data dengan cara yang lebih terinci dengan format yang lebih standart atau sederhana yang dilakukan oleh aplikasi system kompyer dengan media lain menggunakan media elektronik. EDI biasanya adalah siistem yang banyak digunakan oleh pembisnis retail yang dilakukan kepada para Supplier. Yang perlu diketahui juga biasanya EDI memiliki sebuah kode dalam proses transaksinya sehingga kelompok tersebut bisa melakukan komunikasi dengan baik secara langsung tanpa memerlukan adanya faktur dan hardcopy. Selain itu, ini akan lebih memudahkan karena prosesnya akan menghindari adalanya penundaan dan kesalahan yang tak disengaja.

Dengan adanya era teknologi yang canggih saat ini para pelanggan yang ingin mengakses ecommerce tidak harus berada di suatu tempat, hal itu dikarenakan di kota kota besar di Indonesia telah banyak tempat tempat yang menyediakan suatu fasilitas akses internet hanya dengan menggunakan laptop/notebook ataupun dengan Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) dengan menggunakan teknologi wifi. Maka dari itu saat sekarang sangat diperlukan dan diminati perusahaan-perusahaan yang menerapkan layanan e-commerce.
- 3. Melakukan kegiatan transaksi secara online berarti pelanggan akan terpaksa menyediakan sejumlah informasi pribadi yang dipersyaratkan oleh penjual. Persyaratan ini tentunya dapat mengganggu kerahasiaan dan menimbulkan issu tentang keamanan dari informasi yang disediakan. Protokol untuk proses tertentu yang belum standard, pita lebar (bandwith) telekomunikasi yang terbatas dan keterbatasan software yang digunakan, merupakan beberapa isu teknis yang mengakibatkan e-commerce masih kurang terintegrasi dengan sistem IT yang kontemporer. Disamping kendala teknis, issu non teknis juga menjadi kendala dalam penggunaan ecommerce. Masih banyak pembeli yang tidak percaya dan susah merubah kebiasaannya untuk bertransaksi tanpa bertemu langsung dengan penjualnya dan menggunakan kertas yang terbatas (paperless). Menurut Marhum Djauhari (2009), berdasarkan kenyataan bahwa hukum sering berdasar pada obyek fisik maka hal ini akan menimbulkan masalah yang serius terhadap bisnis karena ketidak pastian hukum dari proses tersebut. Status hukum dari transaksi yang dibentuk secara otomatis, belumlah jelas. Apakah mungkin untuk sebuah perjanjian atau yang lebih umum, prosedur hukum dibuat oleh sebuah komputer.
