Synopsis :

For baseball-loving left-handed pitcher, Eijun Sawamura, there's no better sport and he wants nothing more than to continue playing with his beloved friends in high school. Too bad his plans run into one problem. No one can catch his unusual, moving pitch! But things change when a scout from a private high school famous for its dominant baseball team watches him play. Now the boy who was the ace of his middle school baseball team will have to leave his sleepy Nagano hometown for Tokyo, and fight tooth-and-nail to earn the title of ace on a brand new team.

Through Eijun's eyes, Diamond no Ace follows the exploits of Seido High School's baseball team and its quest to reach the prestigious summer baseball tournament, Koushien. Once known as a baseball powerhouse, Seido hasn't reached the championship in several years. Could Eijun's hard-to-catch pitch be the weapon they need to accomplish the goal that has eluded them for so long?
